The Howard Naish Workmanship Promise
Every job we finish is backed by a written guarantee: 2 years on installation, 12 months on sanding and refinishing. Not marketing small print with a big number on the front, a plain promise from the two people whose names are on the van.

The Promise
If something fails because of how we worked, we come back and put it right, at no cost to you.
And for the honest cases where the cause isn't obvious (a floor moving or lifting can have many causes): an independent flooring inspection decides. If it finds our workmanship at fault, we fix it without argument and refund the cost of the inspection. Few firms in this trade will put that in writing.
Straight Talk
Wood floors live real lives, and a guarantee that pretended otherwise would be worthless. The promise covers our workmanship. It doesn't cover the life your floor lives afterwards: everyday wear and scratches, water and humidity damage, harsh cleaning products, wood moving naturally with the seasons, or floors that haven't been cared for. Our care guides tell you exactly how to keep a floor at its best, and following them is what keeps the promise valid. The full wording lives in our terms, in plain English, published for anyone to read: no hidden criteria, no asterisks.
One more thing worth knowing if we're fitting your floor: we glue our floors down rather than floating them, and on engineered boards that's not just better fitting, it's what keeps the board manufacturer's own multi-year structural warranty valid. Fitted properly, you're covered twice over.
Why We Can Promise This
A guarantee is only as good as the people behind it. Dean and Luke are on every job, so the person who guarantees your floor is the person who sanded it. That's why we can promise plainly what bigger firms wrap in small print.
